Default which steering damper to buy?

i finally got some cash to buy a steering damper..but i dont know which brand to get...i like the ohlins, but how do other brands such as toby, storz, matris, scotts, etc compare to ohlins...i have enough to buy the ohlins but if there is no difference in how they PERFORM and QUALITY and i can save some money by buying the other brand then id rather do that. thanks in advance...

p.s. anybody know a good place online or in the los angeles,ca area where i can get a good deal on steering dampers..thanks

I thought you were selling your R6? Other than that, I like my scotts. Nice and adjustable. Just make sure you get the security bolts for it. 2 allen screws holding a 400 part onto your bike, kinda iffy.

If someone wants has an opportunity to steal your steering damper, then consider your entire bike a write off...

if yo u're getting an R1 then get the SCotts. All you will need is a new base adapter for the scotts and you wont have to pay for another damper.

I just got my GPR stabalizer for my 00 R6 and I like it. They all do the same job, just depends on the style and name you want. I got the GPR because Scotts only comes in a gold color and I wanted a black one.

Bwahaha, I can picture some guy walking up to a bike with an allen wrench trying to get off a damper.
