Quick question when installing the tein S-Tech springs on an EG civic its is said that the bump stop must be cut. The bump stop cut table sheet says 1.2 Inch front and 1.2 inch rear. The question is, is 1.2 inch the lenght to be cut off and thrown away?? or the overall length it should be after the bump stop is cut?? I am just confusing myself more and more each time i try to think about it.... Any suggestions?

the said measurement is whut u should have remaining after u cut it.

 

um.. i just got my tein stechs on last weekend and i watch my friend put it on, the cut the bump stop 1.2 in the rear and in the front, and they just like, disgarded it and put what's left back on...

 

no... cut out 1.2" in the front adn back, not cut off 1.2", so you want a bump stop thats 1.2" high in the front and back, i actualy recommend 1.5

 

i cut 1.5 in. off the front and back. works fine.
