Today after taking a trip to Super Auto Bac (sp?) I made a stop at Del Taco with one of my buddies. I pick an end spot like usual park, then walk inside and start eating. 2 Girls finish eating, walk to there focus which is outside by next to my car. The girl backs out cranks the wheel and runs right into the back left of my R. Im sitting here watching it happen through the window, she then continues to scrape my car to finish her turn and tries to drive away. I drop my taco and run out and start banging on her window. Gets out, I tell her she just hits my car and she gives me the "really. I didnt even feel it" At this point im furious, take down all her information while I listen to her and her friend talk about how they didnt even feel themselves hit my car. Anyways, I just picked up my car about 2 months ago. **** like this just infuriates me. Even more proof that girls should not be on the road.....All in all there are 2 scratches about 12 inches long down to the black of the bumper.


So if anyone knows of a good and expensive bodyshop around So-Cal I would really appreciate any help.

 

I can't believe they kept saying that even though they were caught. But then again, it shows how attentive they are if they don't even notice themselves hitting someone.

Seems like no matter how careful you are something will still happen to your car.

 

My mom (who is a female) taught me how to drive...not all female drivers are idiots.

 

If there is an empty parking lot with a nice car as far from the door as possible, either the shittiest car, fattest dude, oldest dude, or dumbest dude will ALWAYS park by it and door-ding it. WTF!!!! I just hope God is a car guy! (Or girl).

I'm at the point where I'll only do a parallel park which usually means a five minute walk... and this goes for my 1st gen Civic too. When you can't find a decent replacement panel you have to make sure you won't have to!

 

wow, i always look around for an end spot or a secluded spot. Guess you're never safe. Well the moral i took out of this story is NEVER go to del taco.

Ain't it the truth! You park as far away from everybody as possible, with tons of empty spots, and the morons always park so close that you have to squeeze into your car! WTF! Are not the empty spots all around you not appealing enough?

 

Sorry to hear about ur car...well you could try body pros in gardern grove or grove auto body also in garden grove. Both shops charge hella high...good luck getting it fixed and hope all ends well i guess.

 

Depending on your insurance.. you can take it to 'Marcos' ... Rated #1 Body shop.

Ditch all those mom and pop show cars shops, take it to Marco's.. it'll come out perfect, no lie.

Tom is right. Especially emphasize to the police that she hit your car and was about to run. Some people are such inconsiderate ******. I would be absolutely furious also. Like you said, find the best and most EXPENSIVE body shop in SoCal..

Marco's = Cost so much they don't even deal w/ customers who don't have an insurance claim.

Excellent point. ALWAYS call the police, even for minor accidents. Having that police report on file will help you tremendously. Note: you should even do this for accidents that are your fault, if you plan on using your insurance to pay for the damages.


I also would have smacked the girl in the face with the taco, but that's just me.
