Default Anyone know where i can get insulated coaxial wire?

im looking for insulated coaxial wire for my knock sensor on my d16y7/y8 minime. does anyone know where i can get this?

i checked both but they dont have coax, they just have speaker wire, like regular 12, 14, 16, and 18 gauge speaker wire (various colored wires) whats the difference in insulated and regular speaker wire

coaxial cable is the stuff that is used for TVs and stuff like cable wires to a television....speaker wire isn't insulated in metal then wrapped with plastic coating. Coaxial cable is wire that is steel braided then wrapped in metal and a plastic coating added on top of that. speaker wire is just wire strands protected by plastic coating. Coazial doesn't come in gauges, speaker wire does. The lower the number(gauge) the thicker the wire.

and RCA wires are also coax, if you have any lying around

yeah i'm pretty sure radio shack has it. for the record, i ******* hate coax and cat5... i had an ineternship in which i set up a 1000 cable modem test facility
