Piping oviously.... modified exhaust.. what else could/should i do/get?

Need a small turbo!!
Draw through carb, no intercooler, and low boost. That should work. Actually a bigger turbo wouldn't be bad, auto, so it only has to spool once, and w/ no intercooler, it won't heat the air as much.
I have seen people put nitrous on those scooters, maybe you could put a sneaky pete on to help spool the turbo

I havent even really put that much thought into. I just saw a picture of one and was like " damn a turbo moped wuold be sweet". I really want to start planning it out and buying **** for it.... The one thing im worried about though, is will the turbo even be able to spool up with the low amount of exhaust flowing through it?
How funny would it be when some guy pulls up next to me and gets smoked by a nitrous/turbo moped..... hahaha.

Earlier you said 50 bucks for a turbo...where would THAT turbo be found?

There was one on ebay for 50$..... It said "small" turbo, but it was still off a car so im assuming it still might be too big.
its impossible.
dont you love naysayers? you're not going to find a suitable turbo that will even spool up. not in that price range, or maybe any price range.
you could disagree with me, but you'd be wrong.

Not likely... I'm with falcon on this. Even a garret t12 wouldn't spool up on that single cylinder 80cc or 125cc engine.
If you're serious about making your aero faster, try a small nitrous system. At least that is do-able, (easier if its not 6v). It's also affordable enough that somebody might actually spend money to put it on on a POS scooter- No offense, I own a POS scooter also.

yeh good luck smoking anything with a 50cc engine...who the hell would even attempt to race a 50 cc engine?? i highly doubt someone in the bike forum would and if they did no moped would smoke a bike..
BTW, for those of you serious about 'performance scooters' there are some sites with information and parts.

85mph 1/8 mile... not too shabby.
I'm working on a scooter to try to beat this right now.

ahh nitrous - thats a much more practical form of forced induction for these little engines, since it can be added independant of engine displacement.
mos keep us updated please. dont hesitate to discuss the technical details either

The smallest turbo you will find is the TC03-06A / MITSUBISHI. It was used in the Yamaha Seca 650 motorcycle.
I don't think a 50cc engine could spin it though, but don't let me stop you from trying. Find one and slap it on there!

Another cool thing about running nitrous on a small engine like a scooters, is that the running costs are practically nothing, since you pay per pound. Although this cost savings may not seem like a big deal, its just another one of the many reasons not to turbo a scooter. The project POS I'm working on now has a 172cc engine on nitrous/propane. It's not even complete yet, and I've already got more money in parts than the bike cost.
Edit:
Should look some what like this when together
