Default Got a Code 22 on a Re-chipped P28 ECU

Want to know why? Apparently JDM motors (@ least the B18C in particular) has no Vtec Solenoid........Ain't that some ****. Had to go get one just for the re-chipped ECU to work.

ANyone else know about this.

uhh...if you have vtec..you have a vtec solonoid.

doesn't any motor that have vtec got to have a vtec solonoid ...

then what engage the vtec lobe on the cam ?

My bad I meant that apparently the oil pressure was tapped off. Swapped the JDM Vtec Solenoid with a US B-series Vtec Solenoid. No problems now.
