01 R for sale in the north east.
Just a heads up for anyone in the market for an R. An exotic car dealer locally accepted a 2001 ITR number 666 (!!!) for a trade in. I am friends with the service manager and he let me give it a once over before they put it up for sale. The front end looked like the hood gap was tighter on one side, but I could have been seeing things. Other than the clear bumper lights, it's 100% stock.
The rear driver's side taillight they replaced and it touches the body as if it was ever so slightly pushed in before. He says that there is absolutley zero unibody damage, and the car is super clean other than what I metioned, especially the interior..mint and stock.
They will probably ask too much since they deal with porsches, bimmers, benz's and ferrari's all the time, but when I find outa little more, I will take pictures and post more info.
I got all amped to sell everything I own and finish my pRoject.

Don't give out too much info on the location. Otherwise theives will visit the dealer before a buyer will. Maybe mention to the friend that the ITR will walk off the lot before most of their luxo vehicles.

It's funny actually, with all the other high dollar euros that are sitting there, they keep the R (PY btw Kendall) in the service garage.
