Dash removal instructions? (94 Integra LS)
Anyone have directions on how to remove the entire dash from a '94 Integra LS? Also, does anyone know if everything will fit properly again? Not sure if it's one of those things where once you remove it, it never fits exact again.
Thanks.
Thanks.
removing the dash is not that hard . i havent did it in awhile but heres what i remember......
-remove the centerconsole , etc.. they will get in the way
-remove the clock , one bolt behind that
-on the sides of the dash , remove the little black covers , 1 bolt on each side
-remove the piece where the coin holder is , now remove the thin silver piece that you see .
-there will be one more bolt in that area , it is to the far left take that out
-now drop the steering colum , 2 nuts holding that up
-you will also have to unplug about 3 plugs from the fuse box
-remove the glove box , and then remove the black 10mm bolt (same bolt that was on the left side)
-there will be 2 nuts that you need to remove in your airbag area ,also unplug your airbag
-dont forget to disconnect the wire that comes from the hot/cold thingy
-there should also be one bolt in the center , closer to the floor
i think thats it . there could be one more that i missed but that is about 99% of it . please disconnect your battery and pull the fuse for the airbag before you remove it .

Wow, that's really all there is to it? Everyone told me "it's hard as hell".
No hidden "clips" or anything that will break when I try to remove it?
hehe
Well, if it's just a matter of unscrewing stuff and pulling it out, should be no problem.
Thanks a lot for the help! If anyone else has stuff to addon or tips, please post them.
Thanks!

You shouldn't have to even do that because there is only one type of each plug, so they can only be plugged into their home. I did a GSR dash swap in an EG and while it wasn't fun, it wasn't that bad either.
You shouldn't have any problems lining things up when you put it back. The vents and everything are all attached, so they go back with a cinch.
