this little thing is giving me the biggest problem. i tried using my hands, then bending back the whole panel, i even used screwdrivers and the back of the hammer.

 

there are clips that you can pry out with a screw driver. watch out when they come out they pretty much shoot out. at least mine did. did you try this already?

 

There is a special tool to remove it, I have one made by Mac Tools.

If you don't want to bother with all that, then use a small flathead, and look for a gold clip, don't just randomly jab it in there.

 

ahh! okay i see what your talking about. didn't see that tat first, im about to go and pop it off, i dont think i need any special tool. Just place a towel around it. So how do you put it back on? Looks kinda complicated, im mean i am taking it off blindly.

 

I'm sure you'll be able to get it back together if you can remove it. I just use a flat head and it will POP off. Then pop it back on when assembling.
