I am sure you guys see these all the time but Im sure one more wont kill you.

This is my first Honda product, when I was 16-17 all I wanted was a GSR but couldnt afford one and had a 1991 VW Jetta 8v, just after I turned 17 I got a pee on job at a major company and started getting paid (well for a 17 yr old at least) and decided it was new car time. Dad talked me out of my dream and into his and I got a 2000 GTi VR6 I liked it alot and turned it into a wicked show car over the next few years. So now 4 VW's later and more problems then I would wish on anyone I got my GSR.

This car is everything I wanted it to be. Its trustwothy, its fun, my girl loves it, my parents love it, the aftermarket loves it, its gas station friendly, comfortable, nice features, B18C1 is sweeeeet, oddly enough even my VW fanboy friends painfully admit they think its a cool car. This forum is a world different then VWvortex, much more open minded to other makes of cars, and a strong go over show base, while still saving some drool for the hotness that comes out.

So the long and the short of it is, everything that came with the purchase of my Integra has proven to be positive and since I havent driven her since Monday Im missing her. Thanks for reading!

8v VW's are the most gutless wonders ever. OK not ever but I hate them. Arent they SOHC too? Glad your happy with the Teg.

Amen to that... Before you do anything... get a good alarm system. I'd also buy the autolock. Maybe a Glock 30 as well to shoot the bastards who try to steal it too.

 

theres something about the integra that makes me love it . bodylines , interior....something that a civic or anything else doesnt have . when i got out of highschool all of my friends had civics and were saving up for swaps . to me that didnt make sense , so i decided to jus buy the car that the motor for the swaps comes out of . none of my friends from highschool own the same cars as they did before...i am on my 2nd integra

Definetely dude. You love your teggy, I love my teggy, but unfortunately so does every other Tom dick and Harry, as well as the entire cast from 2Poor 2Furious.

The Integra is a sweet *** car, pretty much as close to well-rounded perfection as any car can get. But Always remember that owning a teggy, especially a GS-R is like having a child that you have to look after, especially in big cities/urban areas. Before you do ANY modding, invest in heavy antitheft security. A few examples;

1. The Club steering wheel lock with the 2 hook bars at each end, instead of just one. Because of this tool, I still have my teggy today.

2. Lojack would be a very good idea, or at least an Autoloc.

3. definetely get an alarm installed, as this will take precious seconds away from any potential thief

4. If you are parking your car outside somewhere overnight, be creative with the unpluggable harnesses under the hood that will render your car undriveable until you get back to it.

5. Last but not least, always watch where you park your car; the closer to public view, the better !

Sorry to rant about this, but I'm so sick of seeing stolen integra posts and I dont want you to end up another statistic.

You guys arent joking around about the security upgrades! I have a Viper Alarm, 2 very large dogs and park 2 feet from my bedroom door at night. I am not familiar with this removeable harness that you just mentioned Eclipse Spanker.
