Default Wiring problem swaping a d16y8 in my 92 vx

I'm having problems with the wiring in my 92 civic vx. does anyone have a wiring diagram of which wires are which? I'm gonna use the p2p ecu... but all the wires on the drives side, the connections don't match up so I need to know which wires go with which wires... also I'm using the harness that came with the engine, and the cabin harness that came with the car... so ya I NEED HELP! thanks

from my experience, i would prefer to use the factory wiring harness from the car along with the original engine. all of your sensor should be primarly the same with the exception of the altenator and fuel injectors and maybe the distributor. anyway go to http://www.hondata.com, or try http://www.locashracing.com for adapters, go buy a helms manual or a haynes manual all the schematics you will need you can find in those.

OBDI = 92 vx wires
D16Y8 = OBDII which = more wires/pluggs

dont be afraid of the sensors bro. it will be cheaper to by the adapter harness from locash racing.

the adapter is made to plug into your fatory harness and plug into what ever ecu you specify (he makes them by order on the spot and does all the repining necessary to make every thing work with your ecu. check it out.

or you can buy a p 28, which is a very good ecu.
