No spark
Just replaced ECU, igniter, rotor, & distributor cap. I followed my chilton manual and tested the coil with a multimeter. The test showed the coil is fine and I get a spark when I test one of the wires going to the igniter. But when I crank the car it doesnt give me a spark. It's really starting to frustrate me, What can it be?
using the multimeter your using... did you test each spark plug cable individually .... having it set to ohms..... test each spark plug cable and post the number your reading when you test each cable.....
If you are sure that your components are good and installed properly, then you need to look at other things.
Two question for you though,
Did it have spark before you replace anything?
Why did you replace all that?

Two things to check:
1. Battery voltage. Using multimeter, check voltage. should be 12.6V or so.
2. Next is the crankshaft position sensor. Locate the sensor, and check for power to it. Then, while cranking check for signal output.

anways, chck the plug cables, maybe they are shot...or you have a faulty plug itself...
