im getting a b18b motor built with turbo...ill be running 6-8lbs of boost...im thinking of getting a 2.5in gt spec for my eg hatch...does apex make 3in? what should i do in terms of power 2.5 or 3in? who makes 3" for civics if apex doesnt? i know thermal does but that oval **** is ugly as hell...some1 let me know soon...ill have to decide in a few days when my motor gets out of the machine shop

3 inch will give you the most power, but i don't know.....wont the piping be too big and kinda hang low....and the 3" apexi N1 looks big as hell on civics.

 

With 6-8 pounds of boost, 2.5" piping should be fine. Maybe throw on a cut-out for track days.

Normally it goes by expected power output. Search through the FI forum for the recommendations.

 

Another think you need to look at is what manifold you are going to be running. Some manifolds (drag) are notorious for not holding boost very well, and running a 3 inch exhaust will only make spiking a more common occurrence. People make a lot of really good power in the low psi levels with 60mm exhaust. I would stick with that.
