"S" light keeps blinking?
The S light keeps on blinking on my dads 91 auto ex accord. I looked around and its says something is wrong with the transmission? Any ideas of what it could be?
The transmission shifts kind of hard, but i thought that was the case of most accords?
Sorry, im not to familiar with the auto transmissions.
Thanks in advance

On mine it turned out to be a partly broken wire from the speed sensor or some such thing.
I know how you feel. I freeked out. Immediately checked the tranny fluid level (fine), smelled the ATF (fine, not burned), checked the shifting (fine), but the speedo was erratic so that told part of the story.
Ask around your friends for references to a good honest tranny shop. Take it in and ask for a diagnostic.

Posting the trouble code stored in the TCM will help narrow down the problem. Check it like you would a CEL.

That would point towards a problem with the VSS circuit. Has your speedo been acting goofy?

Check the connector to make sure the pins aren't corroded.
