Default how to tell if a head is blown?

ive been having over heating problems with my hatch since last weekend when i went to the track. doesnt over heat until you redline it, or just get on it hard. and it also kept blowing out the fan switch as soon as you got on it.

replaced the thermostat, and drilled a small hole at the top. checked the RAD. for cloggs.. got out all the air i think. hardwired the fan. still does it.

also, no leaks anywhere? no oil in water, or water in oil... no oil loss.. the only other weird thing going on is my gas milage went from 31mpg to 23mpg between last weeks tank... including track day and a few days later. to this weeks tank.

Check your resistance on the Water Temp Sensor on the head and the near the thermostat with a volt metter by dipping it in hot water and then in cold it should fluxulate resistance.. and for the poor mpg im guessing it could be the O2 sensor? i dont know if this will help you or not
