Default overfilling your car with oil? can this cause starting problems?

I have over filled my honda CRX with oil it is about 1cm over the max limit on the oil dipstick. I am havign some problems starting the car at the moment, could it be anything to do with this? the thing is i cant start it to get it on the ramps to take some oil out ... DOH! just thought id ask here to see if anyone has any comments or encountered simular problems

i won't worry about it. it won't hurt to overfill a little but it can cause damage if you overfill alot.

I don't think it should cause a problem starting the engine, unless you got it started then something happened and now it doesn't start. What's your starting problem...does it just turn over? Make sure you have fuel and spark getting into your cylinders, read the plugs...

It shouldn't be a problem at all. Start checking on other things.
