A lady friend of mine has a civic and she wants to do some work to it. She wants to go with a black widow body kit and chrome 19s and altezzas and such. I talked her out of such stupid ideas and now she is letting me decide what happens to her car within reason. This is where you civic expects come in. Her civic is a stock black 1999 coupe. It is automatic and has a hole in the exhaust somewhere and also is equipped with a big dent in the side. I have decided to not go with any engine mods. She would never agree to a engine swap and with her driving abilites her civic already has to much power. Here is a list of ideas. First of all I was thinking exhaust probably Apexi N1 and also that big dent. Then comes the DIY headlight black out and a mesh grille. Next I would go on to the drop with maybe 1.5 inches. I do not want to go to low becasue she is a horrible driver. Next would be rims 16in at most with some decent tires. What do you guys think.

fix the exhuast... a couple of interior and exterior accessories.... nice stereo system.... all a woman needs as far as i'm concerned... don't lower the car any more than 1.5, i wouldn't lower it at though... and fix the dent if possible.

 

my suggestions to tell her to:

1. fix/get new exhaust
2. fix the dent if it bothers her
3. keep it stock or get a body kit for shows

well that's all because it doesn't seem like she's into modding for performance.

SWAP IT WIT AN AUTOMATIC H22 MOTOR I COULD GET ONE FOR 1,700 HAHAHHAHAH i wanna see an automatic h22 swap lol, as for exhaust... exhaust gives me a headache.. my car is too damn loud i hate it... looking for a stock exhaust anyone got one layin around?

 

if she really sucks at driving i would think its best to leave it mostly stock.. considering she may not avoid potholes and go sideways on driveways (bent rims and bent suspension). teach her whats what about these cars and let her do what she wants to her car.. its her car.

 

leave stock if bad driver.

 

hows the paint, if it aint so good get her a nice paint job. drop it maybe 2'. some nice 15 or 16s and oh i dont know maybe some ebay cold air. she might like the purrr of her motar

 

fix the problems and get a set of 15-16" wheels and a slight drop. dont get an overly loud exhaust if you get one. maybe a world sport.
