will a US B16a (99-00) civic Si timing belt, fit a 95-97 JDM SiR-G b18c 1.8 GSR?

 

carparts.com showing 2 different numbers, but i thought they would interchange.

 

auto zone showed the same// acura-honda showed different, nappa showed different,, i perosnlly thoguht theyd be the same.. b/c tha american b16 -jdm b16 interchange as well as the waterpump.. not sure about teh gsr,, but i'm not paying 3 times as much ffrom acura,,even at my cost for somthing i can get at like 30 dollars/50 dollars belt/pump

 

honda and acura usually show different parts. except on like oil filters. i would think they are the same.

 

tru it was nice to see though that the acura parts incorparted the "p72" in the part number

no...its a older gsr...so it has a gar oil an water pump u needa the same belt for that motor...vice versa..b16a needa b16a belt ive seen peeps try to use that combo...but nothing good comes out of it... except a broken belt an possibly floating valves..so u will needa GSR timing belt....
