Default Help! What is wrong with my car?

Just wondering if anyone has any idea what would be wrong with my car. Sometimes when I start it it makes this grinding noise, like when you try to start your car when its already running. It doesn't do it every time, just every once and a while. I really hope it isn't the starter, because I just replaced that last year.

Thanks

could possibly be your starter staying engaged even after you stop turning it over, we had taht at work just today with teh same thing, turned out to be the starter. you could try rebuilding the starter and see if that helps

I just replace the starter last year. I really hope thats not what it is. I really don't want to dump a lot of money into this car right before I sell it. Thanks

did you use oem or jobber? we replaced the starter in a 240sx on friday with a jobber and it got towed back into us on saturday night cuz it wouldnt stop turing over and started to fry the battery. turned out a bad starter from a jobber company.
best part about hoinda starters is you can replace the contacts super easy, and for the most part are rebuildable.

yeah it could be your started sticking... most starters are just rebuilt from the cores of old starters. sometimes you can get one that was rebuilt defected

I guess I better bite the bullet and have it looked at.
