I am thinkin of spending up to $10,000 on a used 98 Civi Si but can anyone tell me if thats a good idea or should I get a different car for about $7000 and add parts to it?

No such thing as a '98 Si. You must be thinking of 99-00. And $10,000 is not enough for that. So your SOL if you had your mind set on an EM1.

 

The dude that saw said it was a 98 but i guess its a 99-00 or older

you could prolly find one cheaper liek 2 grand do a swap, suspension, and boost
^^u can get all that for 8 grand

ummm .. i dunno what to say .. first off there was no 98 civic si its a 99-00... second off do a search man see what best fits your needs...this topic is posted AT LEAST once a week sometimes more .....and its not even supposed to be posted at all .. read the forum guidelines BEFORE POSTING like it says ......
