Can i cut my own valve relifes deeper with the motor in the car?

i was wondering if i could do this to my b20z so that i can put a vtec head on with the stock b20 pistons. thanks
it would be very very tricky and you;d have a extreamly high risk of damaging the block if you slip up...i wouldent do it. (common sense)

ah not bad, how do some people get away with running the vtec head on a stock bottom end with the stock uncut pistons? this is the only thing that confuses me thanks!

They probably are using stock cams or after market ones that aren't very aggressive.
As you can see the valves were barely hitting and we were running JUN 3's.

Basically the same thing I did. Took a while as the Dremel couldn't handle much of a load and the carbide bit kept getting loaded up with aluminum shavings.
