B20VTEC, 225 WHP possible?
Current setup:
B20VTEC
ITR head
B20 block : 11.8 compression
toda B cams/cam gears/valvetrain
ITR intake manifold/throttle body
intake/jdm 4-1 header/GReddy Evo exhaust
6A MSD ignition/HVC Coil
Walbro fuel pump/fpr/fuel pump
p28 comp
Apexi VAFC
Currently at 200 whp, will JUN 3 cams, port/polish head, and hondata get me to 225 whp?

to reach that, you'll need more/better components.
I had a B20/vtec with Alaniz ported head, CTR cams, ITR IM, JDM 4-1, Hondata, 440cc injectors, overbore TB and a few other things, I maxed out at 200/153. You will have to open it up more, it needs more air, and more fuel, get a ported IM, bigger head, and a much bigger header.

Should be able to get there without much more help.
Here is 205whp on a stock bottom end with just JUN 3's. Old post so pics don't work anymore.

So that is with way less compression than you are dealing with. Get Hondata and get it tunned.

That was advanracing62's motor he may still have the pics.
The only pics I have are of the stock B20 pistons that I enlarged the valve reliefs on. I can send you those if anyone is interested in seeing them?

Yeah since the face of non-vtec valves are smaller in circumference then vtec ones. You may be safe with stock cams. We were running JUN 3's with cam gears set at zero and they were barely hitting as you will se in the pics which I will send out latter tonight.

Thanks.
Ignore all other valve marks outside the relief area. That was from when the motor was stock and an old guy towed his CRV at 50-60mph while it was IN GEAR.

hey nice picture
, those will really help anyone trying to do the samething(like me). this was a topic, that has been covered before but no one ever showed pictures of what the process is like! how did you manage to keep the shavings, from entering the cylinder walls. i was thinking of using a shop vacum, while my friend grinded of the valve reliefs!

Lots of duc tape.
Not really ideal to do it with the pistons installed but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.
