Knowledgable Accord guys, please tell me what you know!
I was wondering if anybody has any dyno information on what kind of horsepower just an intake alone would be made on a V6 Accord. I have three forms of intakes that I want to know the horsepower for: short ram on a V6, CAI on a V6, and the K&N drop in/removed resonator on a V6. Any dyno sheets or just reliable sources of info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. Also, does 10 horsepower for a short ram on the V6 Accord sound about reasonable?

Thanks for the info. Any dyno charts? The reason I ask is that I was told by the owner of a V6 Accord that a short ram would give you 10 horses. I basically said that wasn't rue, and he showed me a dyno sheet of 10 horses on a short ram on a V6. What about the fact that they usually do dyno tests in a pretty controlled condition. Also he said that since it was a V6 it would respond to the intake differently than a 4 cylinder. Help me out so I can refute the argument. Thanks.
You will never ever get 10 horses AT THE CRANK from any type of intake or filter. Maybe 5 at the crank and 2 to the wheels. 3% sounds about right.
Usually gains from just I/H/E are pretty insignificant. Probably like 10 HP total and 0.5 off the 1/4 mile.
