Default Takata Harnesses

Bit of JDM bling for you guys

The install didn't take that long cos there were eye bolt holes already there. Hardest part was adjust the gits.

Get in too tight
Get out adjust
Get in too loose
Get out adjust
Get in too tight
Get out adjust

and repeat!!!! lol

Enjoy

Comment welcome, oh yeah if any one can recommend some lightweight seats then suggest away.

Any plans for a cage or at the least a harness bar? They look good though.

Do you have a rollbar or cage?

You shouldn't use a harness without one of those two things.

Sorry to be the safety jackass, but its very unsafe.

No roll cage yet, altho that is in the pipeline.

Following the official fitting instructions a roll cage was not mentioned, and the eye bolts were in the recommended positions.

Roll cages here in the UK are hard to come by, unless you go custom, and then I'm looking at "big bucks".

I understand what you are saying about safety, and I did alot of searching around the forum before taking the plunge.

Takata does have very high quality. The cam lock is so nice too.

Buy my cage (see sig). But shipping to UK would be painful....

funny but when you get the takata harnesses the directions suggest installing them into the floor of the car and not the cage where he installed them is the recomended spot

Now, I can remotely understand it when people cross their harnesses like that with fixed buckets that have their own dedicated guides for each shoulder harness. I can even sort of understand why people might want to use a harness without a rollbar.

But I totally agree with lance. That's just scary.

Don't cross the belts like that on the JDM Recaros.
The belts can slide between the holes and saw your head off...... worse than not having a rollbar.

They look great.

But, you cant adjust them while sitting in the car?? even my 100.00 G-force harnesses do that.
