I purchased a new project over the weekend. It needs tires and a mid pipe for the exhaust but runs good. This will be lightly modded (I guess those parts I was seling that never sold will come in handy) and given to one of my kid sisters, after I make her kiss my azz and tell me what a great big brother I am

I have two sisters, one who is 17 and shows no real interest in cars and another that is 14 and is a car junkie like her brother. the 17 yr old really wants a Jeep or my suv but I dont think I want to be that generous. If she gets it, it'll remain relatively stock. I'll fix the two items mentioned, install a new clutch, Tbelt, etc. and a nice stereo.

My 14 yr old sister though wants to paint it, lower it, add all the bolt-ons and help do the work. She's a neat kid.

I'm giving my 17 yr old sis dibs because she is driving already so we'll see how it goes.

I guess my post is senseless... But I love my sisters a bunch and it made me happy to be able to do this for them

you sound like me,..when my sister bought her 6th gen EX civic,..i gave her ALL my spare parts that i was gonna sell,..now we are making it a project car,..its funny because me and my sister never got along before,..but i guess we both grew out of that and now we get along great,..her car is bringing us together more also,..shes a certified mechanic also (and no she is not butch,..she was just interested in cars and thats what she elected to take at tech school)

Thanks. My car is an EX too. I know it's heavier than the DX sedan or a hatchback, but I like the power accessories and sunroof
