Default All motor LS, read please.

I'm planning on doing an all motor setup with 404's, hondata, pr3 pistons. etc....

I have the pistons, the PnP head, the header, and all I'm waiting on really is cams/valvetrain/management. And some honing.

I was wondering if I ran the pr3 pistons, the PnP head, I/H/E, would I see a significant gain? I wouldn't mind getting the bottom end setup, so I can later on put in the cams, and everything else the top end needs. If it will pull better with i/h/e, and the PnP head with pr3(11:1 CR)pistons, I would like to do that, just so I can see how it feels in steps, instead of one big step. I'll be running stock LS cams with the PnP head. Any opinions or ideas would be appreciated, I'm not asking for an "E-DYNO" run either, just to find out if you think there will be a significant power gain.

Thanks for the reply. nobody is replying...

You think there will be a noticeable difference in power without the cams in...they make up for a good bit of the power.

are u sure cuz the low end in a b18b kicks *** already. The only problem we have being LS is we dont have any real top end power. Those cams and higher compression are gonna help out the top end. Should be kick ***.

what hes saying(I think) is the cams will prob move the power higher in the power band, that usually takes away from low end power and low end driveability. I don't think it will be drastic, but I don't think you'll make as much tq/hp down low. If you look at any real high rpm engine you will see that this is typical. Anyway I think this is a bitchin project, good luck on it and let us know how it goes.................John
