Default Springs/ Coilovers/ Help!

Okay I am trying to figured thise out some. I have a 97 ex and I would like to drop it alittle bit from the stock height. The current hight from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheelwell lip is about 3inches. I was thinking of a 1.75in drop? What do you all think? Springs/Shocks? Coilovers? I have heard that the springs are going to give you a smoother ride than coilovers and this car will be a daily driver.

and this would be the about area I would like

If you're doing it for looks, get the coilovers so you can adjust it where you want it. If the drop isn't where you want it with springs, your stuck with it.

from my experience i will say go with coilovers w/struts.i wasted $$ and bought 2 different sets of springs and never liked the look.so in the end i bought some gc coilovers.the ride is not that bad considering the roads around my neighborhood.

Tein are not "the best" by any means. Let us know how much you want to spend and we'll help you out.

it would all depend if I need to purchase the camber kits for the front and back. I'd probably say somewhere in the 500-600 area?

Camber doesn't hurt tires like toe does. A little camber won't hurt ya. For 600 bucks I'd say KYB AGXs and some GCs.

If you are going to go with a non adjustable shock I'd pick up the KYB G2s. They're pretty darn cheap and work well.

Not worth it. Surpisingly enough, the Arospeed coils are pretty decent if you are looking for something cheap.
