I would think that you'd need a different harness (w/ 3wire) and a dual filament bulb

you would need a 2 filament bulb to do that. as far as i know, the bulbs only have 1.

no you dont need a new bulb. i wired mine that way with the stock 1 filament bulb. what you need to do is use more complicated wiring. i got a taillight converter harness for trailers. what it essentially does is take the signals from 2 sources and combines them in such a way that it will still work on one filament.

the harness has the exact wiring you need interally, you just have to know which wires to hook up. the real world use is combining brake signal with turn signal into a single bulb. but if you wire your parking signal into it instead of a brake signal you will have exactly what you are looking for. the sidemarker will light up with the parking light and flash with the blinker.

the only difference is the flash is inverted at night. when your parking lights are on, your sidemarkers will also be on. so when your corner light gets bright the sidemarker turns off. it alternates. looks fine to me tho and its only inverted like that at night when your parking lights are on. hth

i did the same exact thing like 2 weeks ago. my sidemarkers are on when i turn on my corners. and when the corners are on the sidemarker blinks oppisite of the corner lamp. just wire them up to your turnsignal. should work.

i dont know what you guys are talking about.

if you just tap your parking lights then they will not flash. if you tap the turn signal they will not stay on at night. you have to get a relay to have both. i am assuming that civics have 1157 dual filament corner bulbs tho, i dont have a civic so maybe its different..

i think you are mistaken because you have an integra right? early g3 integras had a 194 bulb in the corner that turned on with the parking lights and flashed with the signals. this would work fine. civics do not have this wiring.
