Default Will a B16a1 oil pan FIT & WORK on a B18c1?

I searched this topic and i got mixed answers. Some say 'yes' and some say 'no'.

Now i have a GSR and B16 oil pan in front of me and i cant seem to notice a difference could someone answer this 100%.

b16 pan will not work with gsr oil pick up

b16 pan is the same as LS

but why? they look identical. Where is the difference?
and if that is the case can i use the B16 pick-up to make it work?

the b16 and gsr pick up is different, may have clearance issues with the girdle

Yes, that is the main reason. All B18Cx blocks have a block girdle, and have thier oil pickup designed to take this into account. B16, B17, B18A/B, and B20 pans should all be the same.

then can anyone tell me where the difference between the 2 pans lie, because as i said i can see absolutely NO DIFFERENCE

itr/gsr has p72 stamped on the bottom

right, the gsr pan has p72 stamped into it. but the b16 is a aftermarket OEM replacment. maybe i got lucky and its a gsr pan?!
where exactly is the difference in the two?
