Need some help engine problems..
ok lastnight i was drivin a lil fast i hit 2nd gear and got the rev limit on well it hit about 2 seconds after that, my car shut off at the light i cranked it back up and it was spuddering.. and buckin,.. also the tach needle was jumping all over the place so i pull into the parking lot. Check everything nothing seems to be busted.. this morning i come out to look and my O2 Sensor wire was busted so i made one work and it still is going all crazy.. Anyone know how to fix this.. I get NO error ecu codes...

Check your cam timing to make sure its fine, also try the dollar bill test for bent valves. At idle take a dollar bill and place it over your exhaust, the bill should flap as if its being blown by the exhaust, if it gets sucked back towards the exhaust then pushed out, sucked back etc, you may have bent some valves.
Dual exhaust I assume? My EX has dual pipes and it works, just put it over one of them, itll still try and suck the bill back if you have bent valves. Also you can pull your sparkplugs and look down into the cyls and look for silver knicks and missing spots of carbon build up etc. mainly around the valve reliefs. And be sure to check your cam timing, when it jumped a tooth on my dx it would buck until you hit higher rpms bc it was severly retarded. good luck.
thx bro ill try this today and hopefully i can fix it.. i need my car for work .... it did it about 3 days ago.. but my vac line to the fuel pressure reg came out from the nipple.. so i thought that was it this time... but it is hooked up .... would bent valves cause my rpm needle to jump up and down?
