98+ jdm b16b type r motor the same deal as the jdm itr motor when it comes to swapping in a usdm ecu

I know on the jdm itr you have to install some usdm sensors, oil pump, and wire in an o2 sensor in order for a usdm ecu to be used. Is this the same deal with the 98+ctr?

what kind of car is this going into? also what motor are you dropping in?
