Posting this for a friend he said he had problems, i asked what, and he replied this...

"Basically, it was over-reved and now the engine will start if I give it gas but will not stay running at idle. I've checked the ignition coil, plugs, and wires...all the typical stuff"


He has a 1.5 94 hatch.

over revved meaning?? did he hit fuel cut off?? or just the rev limiter??

 

Sounds like a bent valve. Check compression.
