i'm sure this shouldnt be on this forum, should be on apperance/cosmetics, or whatever, but i'll post here anyway

not really that hard to do. just got couple tips from friend of mine. take picture in photoshop, put new layer on top. trace outline of bike/car/whatever with brush. i used pixel size 2. then new layer under the tracing but over the original picture and paint in your own colors on that new layer. since the lines are in a layer above the one you paint it, you wont paint over the lines. use original picture to get right colors and whatnot. to make it look nicer, get some shadows in there like i did. i say, try it on a car first. much easier. too many damn things to draw on a bike. but outcome is sweet

edit: wheels SUCK. so hard to get good line. and handlebars are too damn hard as well.

I used the line tool and the pen tool for the ones I did...followed crxforums tutorial.
