Any differences between JDM YS1 and 92-93 GSR YS1??

Are these 2 tranny's the same? If I get a JDM YS1 (my 92 gsr ys1 is shot) and anything goes wrong with it, can I use USDM YS1 parts? Like synchros for instance? Are these 2 trannys the same? Any differences in gearing or anything like that. I already know that JDM YS1 came with optional LSD but are there any other differences?? Thanks guys

As far as I know, they are identical. JDM had optional LSD. This is just regurgitating what I've read, though. Same ratios, too: http://www.allmotorhonda.com/t...s.htm
