Default F22 cams?

What kind of prep would I need to have done if I wanted to inststall a set of cams on a high millage F22b1. Can someone explain Cams to me, such as name brands, insallasation, prices and WHP and Torque gains. I hear Skunk 2, JUN, and the Type S cams are pretty reliable and work well on the H22a. What is available for the F22b1? where can I get them? Along those same lines, What about intake manifolds, or anything else to give my F22b1 a good boost in power. Even package kits, I need some knowledge Thanks

Ok, well, just so that you know - your motor has a single cam (SOHC) v. two cams (DOHC). As far as replacing your existing cam, not many people offer a new cam from stock billet. Most companies that I know of tend to re-grind your original to better specs.

If you want my opinion, don't just get all these parts and put them on, especially for a Single Over Head Cam engine. It takes alot of $$ to make an all (SOHC) motor run effectively and fast.

Your best bet would be to turbo your engine or get a Nitrous kit.
