when i looked at the dipstick when i first got the car it seemed like 3/4 full so i put a quart in and its been 3 weeks and it looks like there is less than a 1/4 on the dipstick. it doesnt leak a lot oil cause it sits in my garage and i would know if there was a big mess but its only like a drop here and there after i drive it hard. its a b16a with pr3-1 head, itr cams, itr IM, itr TB, ihe. what could be the problem. i dont want to drive it and just have to constantly waste money and put new oil in it every month.

 

did you wait at least 5 minutes for all the oil to drain down into the pan before you checked the oil? if you didnt wait your reading wont be accurate.

 

do a compression test, could be your rings

 

does it have a blueish tint smoke from the exhaust, cause if your not leaking oil its burning it. head gasket, piston rings, etc. do like he said and do a compression test, and go from there.
