anyone know what the adjustable looking screw on the side of an msd box is for?
anyone know what the adjustable looking screw on the side of an msd box is for? my car came with an msd ignition but i dont know anything about it. is it to control the rev limit or something?
What MSD box do you have and are you talking about the little dials (that you can rotate with a slot head screwdriver) or the black cap (maybe ~1cm in diameter) which is held on my a phillips head screw? If you actually have dials and you have say a Digital 6 ignition then the controls are for your 2 step, retard, cylinder selection, etc. If it's something more simple like a 6A or 6AL and it's just the black button all it is, is a cap to cover the cylinder section wires (just like a aftermarket tach has to know if you're working with 4, 6, or 8 cyinders). Hope this helps
