I'd search on topics and around the internet on nitrous if you want to get that.

Running nitrous on a stock motor is something you need to know the worlds about to run it and not blow or burn a valve or something in your motor.

Searching around would greatly help you out.

100 shot on a stock SOHC motor? not happenin...at least reliability wise.

I'd search on the issue and how it works, etc..

95 ex ..... D16Z6? The ? is because I don't know if it's the original motor. Anyway...I would not do NOS in your situation. If neither you nor your friend know what kit he is selling you I would not put it in your car.

Modding a car is not cheap...rule #1. If you want to do it cheap then hang out at Advanced Auto/Pep Boys. I would save up and get a tubo kit. If your motor only has 40k then it seems like a prime candidate for a SOHC turbo. Turbo is not cheap but it is IMO the best bang for the buck. If you buy an intake and header that is a good chunk of the $ that could have went into a turbo.

I don't want to tell you what to do because it is your car and only you can say what you are going to do with it. I would not do NOS as a first mod. NOS will not be the cheapest way if you don't know what you are doing with it.

if you are going to do nos. try a dry set up and no more that a 35 shot. buy it's designed for more instant hp. but it's not really that much cheaper then a few bolt on mods. And in the long run you will only put a lot of wear and tear on the motor.

100 shot is ok on stock motor as long you go 2* colder plugs and retard your timing by 2*-4* and use it once in a while... We have sprayed 100 shots on B7's all day long and put down Z6-T times

Stop saying "nos" you ******* ricers.

Nitrous.

Are you too much of a sped to sound out the other syllable?
Lesson:

Ni-trous.
Repeat as many times as neccesary to get it right. If you still say 'nos,' go watch The Fast and the Furious a couple more times and then jump off a bridge.

I said NOS in my post because it was shorter that Nirtous. I wasn't refering to the company or any movie. Kinda like when someone says DIY or IMHO etc. Sorry now I'm a ricer I guess.

Also we're not really spraying nitrous into our intakes, we're spraying nitrous oxide. And that's just to darn long.

::EDIT:: Also do you guys ask for Kleenex (tm) or a facial tissue?

NOS = nitrous oxide systems the company. If your refering to the gas it's nitrous or N20.
Nossss isn't even close to diy, or imo,etc...
