Friday after work Ricey Mcricerton and i are putting in my swap but today i called

around for prices on spark plugs for the b16a3. The cheapest price i got was 13.95

per plug and wires was like 70 dollars. Are these people crazy or is that the prices

for plugs for that engine? any suggestions on what plugs and wires i should get

except for ngk's? oh yeah......if you was getting a full greddy evo cat-back for 100

dollars, would ya get it?

You got the price for platinum plugs. Just get regular copper core NGKs or the like. Should cost about $4-8 for all four.

Yes platinums are only good for lasting long, and if you are modding a car you'll probably foul out plugs in the process of getting air/fuel ratios correct if you have an intake, header, exhaust, fuel pressure regulator, V-AFC, etc. in store.

I'd rather foul out a set of $12.00 plugs than a set of $50.00 ones.

Platinums are one expensive piece, but are good otherwise.

I believe most Honda B-series motors came from the factory with NGK laser cut platinums and that is what they are pricing you. They are good plugs but spendy and I've read a lot of people on here running the non platinum ones without problems. Platinum just lasts longer.

I bought some NGK Irridiums which are on par or a little better than the platinums, on ebay for like $35 shipped. Supposed to last longer than the car.

Just pick up some denso or ngk copper plugs, they'll get the job done.
