Anyway to tell if S1 Tranny is Jap?
Is there anyway to tell if the tranny is a Jap spec or USDM S1??? I don't want to buy a tranny that might be the long *** geared USDM S1 anyone know? TIA Rob

Do you mean the ZC tranny?
If so, the diff takes the larger Integra sized axles. Just take a civic axle with you and if it's too small, then you know it's a jdm one.

my ls tranny had a white sticker on it and the j1/s1/y1 have a gold sticker. Also take the serial number and goto acura and see if its a legit tranny, if yes its ls and take a **** on it

Every cable tranny I have seen has a gold sticker....... the 92 up have white sticker???? anyway most trannies have that sticker gone......... there's got to be a way????????????????????????????? Rob

my JDM s1 also has a J1 stamp on it near the S1 sticker. the stamp is black just like a hand stamp that they use at a club or somethin of that sort. if it is a JDM s1 it will have that also.
