whats your goal? stay sohc or go dohc? how much money do you wnat to spend? may question like that we need to know. but to start i would start with basic, intake, exhaust. go from there

I already have a manifold, it came with the car but I haven't taken off the filter box to see what it is. It also came with aftermarket dual compression springs but I don't know what brand. I want to stay with the SOHC.

save money for a DOHC motor, such as the B-series from Integra, 99 on civic SI!! or H22 from the prelude!!
As right now you should get your suspension done first, lowered, put a nice set of rims on. That my lil .02 cent.
