What tools do i need to do this on a EK? Is it difficult? Does anybody have any instructions? Please help me . The honda dealer is charging me 89 Dollars.

which motor mount are you talking about?

ok, well you want to atleast support the motor with a hydraulic jack. and then just unbolt the two 14 mm bolts that hold the rubber mount to the frame. then you unbolt the 17 mm bolt that goes through the rubber mount. and do the reverse to put back on the new mount.

 

So a person with little car mechanical experience could do it. Thanks for the help.

 

yeah, don't pay the honda dealership to do it for you. it's very easy and theres only like 3 bolts. those bolts might be hard to take off so a good breaker bar would provide some good leverage.

 

do you happen to know what the torque # on those bolts have to be?

 

i think it's 51 lbs. of tq. i say just tighten the **** out of it.

 

Hey, is there anyway to do it without a jack, because mine is all the way in sacramento?

 

use your sissor jack in ur trunk thats what i did but make sure you use a piece of wood unless u want to dent ur oil pan
