ovbiously u didnt read it fully, or didnt pay attention.....theres no real answer to ur question, as people have varying opinions and taste.......a good bet would be some tokico Hp's w/ neuspeed or h&r springs. with a camber correction kit, u should be able to pick that all up for <$500
Just a word of advice I wouldn't "cheap" on suspension or anything for that matter. A good generalization is if your buying cheap parts first off you will end up spending more money in the long run. Cheap and performance do not go together. Plan on spending at least 500 bucks for decent springs/shock setup, I would check h-t classifieds and also ebay (but make sure you don't buy the ebay junk) and you should get a decent discount over new stuff
Well I just got my H&R sports for 169.00 At tirerack and Got Kyb Agx's off Ebay for 300. So theres a pretty good set up I think for under 500.00
Good deal, I bought my H&Rs from inlinefour.com for $180.00 new and my KYB AGXs from ebay for $350.00 new as well. Had them installed on my 96 CD5 with corrected camber in rear. Front had no need for camber adjustment for I still have my factory 15" alloys. H&R race springs will give a 2.25" front drop and a 2.0" drop in the rear and I never have a problem bottoming out. Still a nice tight, little bumpy but a great overall ride. What an improvement over stock height!!
and remember just like VRDrvr said never go with the cheap way out, stay resonably priced with good a quality rating
