fitting EG suspension on EF, what would it require?
simple Q,
i've got a smashed eg hatch,
with some full coilovers that I want to use on my next car.
i'm thinking about maybe cheaping out and getting an EF,
its something different, and might be interesting.
NOW i'm wondering, what would it require for me to get my coilovers to work on the EF chassis?
I do have the full EG suspension undamaged(like all the control arms steering knuckles, etc etc) so if I need those parts it'd be no prob.

If you do decide to use the Eh shocks, then make sure you use the Eh yolks. Or you could use the ef shocks and the coilovers from your Eh and use the EF yolks
so basically both yolks/forks from either the eh or ef, will fit on both eh/ef?
butt the struts will only fit in the same year yolk/fork(ehstrut needs eh yolk, ef strut needs ef yolk?)
thnx

Yep, the EF shocks are skinnier than the Eh shocks and require the EF yolks. If you were to do vice versa, the Eh shocks require the EF yolks. I ran Tokiko Illumina's off of an EF on my 92 Civic 4-door for a while and had to run the EF yolks
