Default JDM head and USDM head

Just curious to know if both the heads are the same for a H22. Plus, where do the jdm engines get their more compression from? (gasket? pistons?)

Default Re: JDM head and USDM head (Vtec96Lude)

Compression on the JDM ones are 10.6:1 as opposed to the USDM ones that are 10:1.

Raise in compression is due to the pistons.
