Default DH racing, Does anyone use them?

Ive got a quick question. Dh Racing seems to have some great numbers posted about there products. They say 52 WHP with there ported intake manifold with 74mm throttlebody and there underdrive pulley. Now I dont understand this. Of course this is with all the basic boltons,I/H/E but still it seems like alot. Also with just the manifold they claim like 25 to the wheels and with a cylinder head they claim 30whp. Im just looking at it like this i could spend like $1300 on a cylinder head, intake manifold w/ throttle body, and underdrive pulley and according to there website i should gain about like 80whp on my D16Z6 does anyone here actually have there product? With a dyno or any other sort of testimony???

There are no dynos for his products. I just got a claimed race ported SOHC head and it was like a mild port job. He also told me the valvetrain can handle a very good cam. When I gave him specs about the cam I was about to use and asked if it would work with the valvetrain he gave me he told me that its my job to figure that out. Very weak.

I have had very good experience working with dave hickman. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cny &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Ive got a quick question. U can't just go and add all the "claimed" hp gains together. Hours and hours of tuning go into gaining power.

Well by what i was being told by Josh that works for the company: that is exactly what it seemed he was implying. Thats why I asked, it did not seem logical, especailly without an upgraded ecu etc. I specifically asked if i should run some kind of managment like Hondata etc he said to see the minimal gains on the site there was not a reason to.

o yeah, supposedly hes got the king of all motor cars that runs 10s. if hes not in fontana this weekend breaking ppl off with this supposed car id steer clear.

You guys are idots, DH Racing stuff is great.

I have had great service from them, and I got 220whp LS/VTEC that says there service is great you flaming homo's. Your so stupid, who cares if the site says that, did you ever think that you need to buy all there parts and no one else's to make the stuff work properly, than get it tuned. You wanna rip on something you have never tryed!!! Yeah great outlook on thangs. Do not listen to these moron's because they have heard things, half of these people do not even know anything about the car there driving let alone how the engine swap was done if they have one. I highly doubt they know anything about Dh-Racing let alone there own engine and how it works. If your going to ask for information like this on a web forum, the majority of its going to be I heard from a friend, who read on a forum, who told a friend, that this was crap bla bla bal.

This is another example of wastefulness.

like i said in my first post u ****** moron. if dave hickman and his product is so great, his 10 second all motor honda will b at least at a few of the NHRA events. if it doesnt show to any of them, then its just hearsay. until someone sees this 10 second B16 run 10s then it means ****. so until u can tell dave to bring his car out, run what it says it runs or at least close then dont jabber about his work being this that or the other. i mean u live in minnesota, who do u turn to for real work????
o yeah i forgot to mention, that car is supposedly already well down into the 9s. so make that a low 10 second pass or 9s. daves got nothin until he can prove otherwise in front of everyone.
to the original poster. i never said daves products were junk. but if they were as great as his pair of nut huggers are saying they are then u would see alot more motors with DH-racing on them.

Most people do not buy from them probably because they wanna do there own thing, and build there own stuff. Plus some of the things are very expensive for what you get out of them. They are gret products, you just have to have the dollar's to buy everything. An I am sure you could build the same stuff they have for cheaper easy in most case's. They are easy to work with though, and there products are good. I am not saying this is the case for everyone, but it depends who puts your **** in your car.

Yeah, it was a good idea to quote the whole paragraph, when all you did was take a line out of it. You want to call me out like that haha. You probably haven't even touch your motor, accept for stupid little bolt on's. An you probably had problems stickin them on. Do not attack me because you know its true. Your just one of them poor 16 yr old kids pissed off because he know's he hasn't done anything to his engine by himself, for himself. An really doesn't know whats going on in there.

You obviously do not know what your talking about, thats clear. Please you are to smart and cool to be hanging out on these forums. Hope I can turn in to a no life loser, that has to get pissed off at people on a forum board, and than fill his ego up, because he has no life any where else. Your cool man!

um, first thing you should do...learn english.
2nd, when you want to talk trash, pick an ignorant person
3rd, don't talk down to me, kid. i've done more in my life now, than you ever will.

but this isn't about how much better my life is than yours...this is about Dave Hickman being a douche and a liar.

until his car comes out and beats ppl...it's hype, bullshit, and hearsay.

but i'm curious as to see your 220whp LS/vtec. i'm sure you have pics of it, don't you.

I do not need to be perfect to get my point acrossed. Keep building up that ego, some day you will actually do all the things you stated. An my motor is to pretty for you, I dont' flaunt things, to please the minds of other's. Deal with your lose's kid, and grow up.

You should contact DHR directly if you want to race one of their street cars. Their street allmotor little blue crx would be a good race if you have an all motor street car.
