Im going to be replacing the blown.. headgasket on my 4dr dx. The head was milled once before. I am going to get the head milled agian for the new gasket install. My question is, will i need to have a thicker headgasket seeing as how it will of been milled twice?

No, and use a Y8 gasket so that you wont have to keep getting the damn thing milled.

 

well the person who owned it before me decided not to figure out why the fan wouldnt come on..(i still cant figure it out) .. so he blew the headgasket.. it was milled previously because it got new valves and the seats recut and so on..

 

search for "radiator fan" i'm sure you'll find something

 

You gon't need to mill a head when replacing the head gasket. Just take it to a shop and have them make sure it is level if it isn't they can take off a minimal amount to level it.

 

i guess im just gonna get it leveled cause its warped... and then get a y8 headgasket...thanks for the input
