ok will i will be buying a new head gasket soon and was wondering. i read sumwhere that the d16y8 head gaskets are better to use, is there ne truth to this, and also if ne one knows where u can buy them less then 50 ship, thanks

 

Y8 headgasket works and is cheaper - get it for $35 to $40 at your nearest Honda dealer. Don't know if it's any better, but for about half the price that's what I am running - works perfectly.

Correct I believe it is a full metal gasket as opposed to the composite that the z6 is. They are both the same thickness though, and I believe the Z6 gasket is more expensive
