car dies...HELP!!
ok, i took my car out of storage a couple weeks ago....ran fine when it came out then last week and this week when i drove it twice(thank minnesota for the snow again) it seemed like it was cross firing when i press the gas more then half way....then i stopped at a light and when it came time to go...it die....with a big back fire. [xx(] after about 5 trys at starting it...it finally stayed up and running but everytime i come to a light it wants to die when i press the gas....when i press the gas more then half way it completely kills the power and sounds like it is crossfiring...plus my air/fuel gauge goes to super lean. anyone have any ideas?
-i checked the plugs, wires, and cap....all were fine...no condensation to mess anything up.
mods/info= 90 gs with 180k on motor, new plugs and wires last year, 421 headers, cold air, full exhaust

I've never got a good reading from those air/fuel gauges. If you got to tap into your oxygen sensor like I had to it might have screwed it up. Don't see why it would mess with your idle, but it made mine run real rich. Just a thought
