Default 4th gen driver's side power window won't go down in the morning

the passenger window works fine, and the driver side will work in the afternoon. in the morning, however, the driver side sticks. this happened yesterday morning and today (yesterday it went down, then i rolled it back up, and then it wouldn't go down anymore).

later in the day it works....i think it might be because it is cold in the morning, but i'm in southern california, and its only ~60 degrees at night right now.

any ideas?

Mine squeeks very loudly as it goes down. So I put my hand on top of it, and pull in and down. Try just pushing it down manually. Its due to temperature and moisture.

spray silicone lubricant in the run channels of your window...it does wonders if you've got friction slowing/stopping the movement of the window
exactly, I used slick 50, but armor all would probably work.

does anyone's power windows make a loud clank sound when you engage the window motor?

4th gen driver's window is notorious for problems...like they become loose and need to be retightened...sometimes the windows go off track....

I've fixed my window like 3 times already, but it's loose again...i'm gonna have to superglue that rubber thing inside

My drivers side squeeks, and my passenger side clanks.

clanking? does it clank when you engage the PW motor? mine does on my 5G, but i wonder if that's a result of moving the window tracks to accommodate for deeper speakers...
